He married Ruth Amelia BLAIS 16 October 1851 in Brookfield, Worcester, MA.⁽⁸⁵⁵⁾ Ruth was born abt 1831 in West Brookfield, Worcester, MA. Ruth was the daughter of Simeon BLAIS.

George was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Warren, Worcester, MA.
