He married three times. He married Haddersa ALLEN 18 November 1806 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁶³⁾ Haddersa was born circa 1774. Haddersa died August 1, 1813 in Sutton, Worcester, MA, at 39 years of age.⁽³⁶⁴⁾ He married Mary ROBINS 28 February 1815 in Millbury, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁶⁵⁾ Mary died 22 December 1835 in Millbury, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁶⁶⁾ He married Artemisa UTLEY 16 April 1836 in Millbury, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁶⁷⁾ Artemisa was born circa 1819 in CT.

Col John Flavel BARTON and Mary ROBINS had the following children:

+ 730 ii. John Bates BARTON was born 22 November 1818.

+ 734 vi. George Austin BARTON was born 8 October 1830.
