Lorraine, Jefferson, NY 2 December 1842. Enos died 3 May 1916 in Biloxi, MS, at 73 years of age.
He married twice. He married Katherine S. RICHARDSON 28 October 1869 in Rochester, Monroe, NY.
Katherine was born 12 April 1845 in NY. Katherine was the daughter of John Fram RICHARDSON and Katherine WIFE OF
JOHN RICHARDSON. Katherine died 18 August 1898 at 53 years of age. He married Mary Converse RUST.
Mary was born 17 October 1870 in Chicago, Cook, IL. Mary was the daughter of Henry A. RUST and Sarah DEFOREST.

operator and entrepreneur, Enos borrowed $400 from his mother in 1869 to go in to business with Elisha Gray, an inventor. Together they
founded Gray & Barton in Cleveland and it later became Western Electric supplier of telephone components to Western Union Telegraph and
later the exclusive manufacturer of components for the Bell system. By the early 1900's it was one of the largest manufacturing concerns in
the world. One of those moments proving that "timing is everything" came on February 14th 1876 when Elisha Gray who had sold
is interest in Western Electric a year earlier, arrived at the Patent office with papers for a new invention - the telephone. His
application was stamped two hours after Boston Lawyer Gardiner Hubbard had filed a patent for his client, Alexander Grham Bell.
A Few years after Enos' death Graybar electric was spun off from Western Electric and today is one of the largest distributors
of electrical equipment in the world.
