He married Maranda S. BRIGGS 4 December 1848 in Orange, Franklin, MA.⁽⁸³¹⁾ Maranda was born 2 October 1821 in Orange, Franklin, MA. Maranda was the daughter of Simeon BRIGGS and Elizabeth SADLER. Maranda died 3 October 1916 in Orange, Franklin, MA, at 95 years of age.

In the Census of Napoleon was listed as a head of household in Swanzey, Cheshire, NH. The following individual is also linked to this event: Maranda S. BRIGGS (household member). Napoleon seems to have followed his father into the medical profession as he is listed as a physicain in the 1850 census.
