She was baptized 31 May 1812 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.

Sophronia BARTON and Hosea B. RICE had the following children:

1689 i. Allan alden⁸ RICE was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA 9 October 1827.

1690 ii. Jane E. RICE was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA 25 June 1830. Jane died circa 1909. She married James W. BARNES 18 September 1849.

1691 iii. William RICE was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA 23 September 1832.

1692 iv. Henry Franklin RICE was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA 29 June 1844. He married Abby A. KING 2 May 1876.

1693 v. Otis P. RICE was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA 9 October 1846.
