657. Aaron Stow⁷ BARTON (Asa⁶, John⁵, Caleb⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Newton, Middlesex, MA 5 September 1771.

He married Sarah Sally SMITH 29 JAN 1793 in Bethel, Oxford, ME. Sarah was born 20 AUG 1775. Sarah was the daughter of Ithiel SMITH and Bathsheba FOOTE. Sarah died JAN 1869 at 93 years of age. Aaron is said to be of Newton, MA in the Annals of Paris, ME.

Aaron Stow BARTON and Sarah Sally SMITH had the following children:

1552 ii. Sarah BARTON was born 27 February 1798. She married Elliott SMITH. Elliott was born about 1802 in ME. Elliott was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Norway, Oxford, ME. The following individual is also linked to this event: Lavinia H. BARTON (household member).

+ 1553 iii. Aaron BARTON Jr was born About 1803.

1554 iv. Siley Stow BARTON was born 7 SEP 1805.

+ 1555 v. Lavinia H. BARTON was born 29 December 1805.

+ 1556 vi. Pliny Flint BARTON was born 28 APR 1807.

1557 vii. Mercy B. BARTON was born 1808. Mercy died 28 September 1836 in Norway, Oxford, ME, at 28 years of age. She married Thomas CHASE.

+ 1558 viii. Artemas L. BARTON was born 16 March 1811.
