669. John⁷ BARTON (John⁶, John⁵, Caleb⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Oxford, Worcester, MA 1777. John died March 2, 1859 in RI, at 81 years of age.

He married Catherine ARNOLD 1816 in Providence, Providence, RI. Catherine was born about 1797 in RI. Catherine⁽⁷⁷²⁾ was the daughter of Thomas ARNOLD and Anstis THORNTON.

John BARTON and Catherine ARNOLD had the following children:

+ 1588 i. Catherine Arnold⁸ BARTON was born 1817.

+ 1589 ii. John BARTON Jr. was born 1820.

+ 1590 iii. Emily L. BARTON was born about 1836.
