295. Jennison⁶ BARTON (Reuben⁵, Caleb⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA March 14, 1774.⁽³⁵⁵⁾ Jennison died 18 September 1860 at 86 years of age.

He married twice. He married Silence BARTON November 27, 1800 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁵⁶⁾ Silence was born April 22, 1778 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁵⁷⁾ Silence was the daughter of Jedediah BARTON and Lydia PIERCE. Silence died June 9, 1801 in Sutton, Worcester, MA, at 23 years of age.⁽³⁵⁸⁾ He married Selah BROWN January 4, 1803 in Sutton, Worcester, MA. Selah was born 1767 in MA.

He was baptized August 16, 1778 in Sutton, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁵⁹⁾ Jennison was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Holdon, Worcester, MA. The following individual is also linked to this event: Selah BROWN (household member). Jennison was living in Holdon at the 1850 census. He was 76 and wife Selah was 73. They were living next to Samuel Warren and family. In 1860 they were living in Spencer.

723 iii. Betsey BARTON was born about 1812. She married John W. HOWE 27 November 1845 in Spencer, MA. In the Census of 1850, John was listed as a head of household in Holdon, Worcester, MA.⁽³⁶⁰⁾ John was "of Holden" at his marriage. At the 1850 census Betsey and John were farmers with no children at home. John was about 10 years Betsey's junior.
