245. Benjamin⁶ BARTON (Timothy⁵, Joshua⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Charlton, Worcester, MA October 16, 1761.⁽²⁸²⁾ Benjamin died 25 January 1826 in Williamson, Wayne, NY, at 64 years of age. His body was interred January 1826 in Marion, Wayne, NY.

He married twice. He married Sarah STONE 1 March 1787 in Dudley, MA. Sarah was born 9 April 1764 in Dudley, MA. Sarah was the daughter of Benjamin STONE and Susannah BUCKMAN. He married Betsey SABIN February 1803 in Dudley, MA. Betsey was born 14 February 1778 in Oxford, Worcester, MA. Betsey was the daughter of Daniel SABIN and Margaret NICHOLS.

Benjamin was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census in Whitingham, Windham, VT. He made a will 23 August 1825 in Williamson, Wayne, NY. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Sally BARTON (heir); Rachel BARTON (heir); James BARTON (heir); Stephan BARTON (heir); Silas BARTON (heir); Betsey SABIN (heir). Benjamin had his will probated 5 June 1826.

Benjamin BARTON and Sarah STONE had the following children:

525 ii. Susan BARTON.

527 iv. Stephan BARTON was born in Whitingham, Windham, VT 22 May 1792. Stephan died June 1828 in Marion, Wayne, NY, at 36 years of age. He married Elizabeth WIFE OF STEPHAN BARTON. Stephan's will mentions no children - just his wife.

Benjamin BARTON and Betsey SABIN had the following children:
