He married twice. He married Emma DREW 24 August 1870 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.⁽¹⁵⁵⁹⁾ Emma was born about 1845 in Boston, Suffolk, MA. Emma was the daughter of Elijah DREW and Lydia. Emma died 24 November 1886 in Newton, Middlesex, MA, at 41 years of age.⁽¹⁵⁶⁰⁾ He married Frances E. KENDALL 12 September 1899 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.⁽¹⁵⁶¹⁾ Frances was born about 1860 in Brunswick, ME. Frances was the daughter of William KENDALL. Charles was a lawyer in Boston when edith was born. The marriage to Frances Kendall is called his 3rd.
