He married Jessie WOODBURY 10 February 1892 in Oxford, Worcester, MA.⁽²⁰⁰⁷⁾ Jessie was born 16 July 1870 in Charlton, Worcester, MA. Jessie was the daughter of Joseph Lucian WOODBURY and Nancy MOFFETT. Jessie died 31 August 1941 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, at 71 years of age.

Loren was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census in Oak Flat, Josephine, OR. Loren was listed as the head of a family on the 1910 Census in South Pasadena, Los Angeles, CA. Loren was listed as the head of a household on the 1930 census in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Roberta Amelia BARTON (daughter); Jessie WOODBURY (wife). In 1892 at his marriage Loren was an insurance agent. Loren was mining for gold in Oregon with his father in law in 1900. They were partners in a claim. The census says he had been married for 8 years. In 1910 the family was in Pasadena and Loren was a cement salesman.

Perez died 13 November 1947 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, at 70 years of age. Roberta went by the professional name Loren R Barton. She was a well known artist. It appears that she had married a second time to a man named Miller.
