819. Rufus⁷ BARTON (Rufus⁶, Jedediah⁵, Edmund⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA July 28, 1817.⁽⁹⁴⁵⁾ Rufus died 2 October 1850 in Millbury, Worcester, MA, at 33 years of age.⁽⁹⁴⁶⁾

He married Margaret S. CARLTON 30 December 1843 in Millbury, Worcester, MA.⁽⁹⁴⁷⁾ Margaret was born 28 July 1825 in Sutton, Worcester, MA. Margaret was the daughter of Silas CARLTON. Margaret died 8 May 1854 in Millbury, Worcester, MA, at 28 years of age.⁽⁹⁴⁸⁾ In the 1850 census Rufus is working on his father's farm.

Rufus BARTON and Margaret S. CARLTON had the following child:

1875 i. Lydia⁸ BARTON was born about 1847.
