He married twice. He married Mary A. WIFE OF EDWIN BARTON. Mary was born about 1836 in ME. He married Clara Ellen WRIGHT 19 March 1881 in Otisfield, Cumberland, ME. Clara was born 18 September 1854 in Otisfield, Cumberland, ME. Clara was the daughter of Joseph Perley WRIGHT and Diantha Jane MORSE.

Edwin was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census in Casco, Cumberland, ME. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Mae G. BARTON (daughter); Cyrus M. BARTON (son); Robinson P. BARTON (son); Clara Ellen WRIGHT (wife). Edwin is a farmer in the 1900 census.
