He married Rachel JOHNSON 10 September 1916. Rachel was born 17 March 1893 in Lake Mills, IA.⁽²²⁵²⁾

Edgar P. HIERSCHE and Rachel JOHNSON had the following children:

5293 i. Keith W.¹² HIERSCHE was born in Balsam Lake, WI 10 July 1917.⁽²²⁵³⁾ Keith died 5 September 1972 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, MN, at 55 years of age.
