He married Hattie E. PIERCE about 1885. Hattie was born May 1865 in Augusta, Kennebec, ME.

Lot M. BARTON and Hattie E. PIERCE had the following children:

3204 i. Annie M.⁹ BARTON was born in Windsor, Kennebec, ME 6 June 1888.⁽¹⁵¹⁶⁾ She married Ernest BOWRING 19 January 1911.

3205 ii. Esther R. BARTON was born 16 January 1896.
