2355. Mary Lucy⁹ BARTON (Edwin Walter⁸, Rice⁷, Abia⁶, Joshua⁵, Joshua⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born 29 November 1884.⁽¹⁷⁵⁵⁾ Mary died 23 May 1970 in Ludington, Mason, MI, at 85 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁵⁶⁾

She married twice. She married Stephen TIERNEY 1903.⁽¹⁷⁵⁷⁾ Stephen died 1905.⁽¹⁷⁵⁸⁾ She married Joseph Robert BURNS 16 April 1917 in Chicago, Cook, IL.⁽¹⁷⁵⁹⁾ Mary Lucy's first husband died about a year after they were married. She and her sister Bertha moved to Chicago, IL with their brother, Irving. He the moved on to Walhalla, MI in the late 20's. Mary Lucy and Joseph Burns (2nd husband) moved to MI in the early thirties.

Mary Lucy BARTON and Stephen TIERNEY had the following child:

3626 i. Mary Francis¹⁰ TIERNEY was born in Pawtucket, Providence, RI 3 December 1904.⁽¹⁷⁶⁰⁾ Mary died 16 May 1962 in Chicago, Cook, IL, at 57 years of age.⁽¹⁷⁶¹⁾ She married Robert WINTHER in Chicago, Cook, IL.⁽¹⁷⁶²⁾

Mary Lucy BARTON and Joseph Robert BURNS had the following child:

3627 ii. Eleanor Gertrude BURNS (still alive).
