75. William⁵ BARTON (Ebenezer⁴, Ebenezer³, William², Edward¹) was born in Epsom, Merrimack, NH April 5, 1754.⁽⁹³⁾

He married Mirriam JONES 20 November 1778 in Deerfield, NH.⁽⁹⁴⁾ Mirriam was born circa 1758 in Deerfield, NH. Mirriam died 1839. When she claimed her husband's war pension she was 83 and living in Kensington, NH.

William was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census in Epsom, Merrimack, NH. The 1790 Census shows William with 2 males over 16, 2 under 16 and 4 females in the household. In 1788 he was appointed guardian for Joseph Bickford, a minor over 14 son of Joseph Bickford. In those papers he is styled a gentelman of Epsom. His brother Josiah was one of the sureties. He was one of the appraisers of Ephriam Lock's estate in 1798 and again is called a gentelman of Epsom.

William BARTON and Mirriam JONES had the following children:

176 ii. Ebenezer BARTON was born 1779. Ebenezer died 30 October 1844 in Epsom, Merrimack, NH, at 65 years of age. Ebenezer was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census in Epsom, Merrimack, NH. Ebenezer was living in Concord in 1839 when his mother petitioned for her husband's military pension.
