463. Hosea Ballou⁷ BARTON (Peter⁶, Bezaleel⁵, Samuel⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Croydon, Sullivan, NH March 5, 1812. Hosea died 20 September 1875 in Newport, Sullivan, NH, at 63 years of age.

He married twice. He married Sarah Catherine AUSTIN 17 December 1838 in Concord, Merrimack, NH.⁽⁵⁶⁸⁾ Sarah was born about 1818. Sarah died 21 November 1842 in Concord, Merrimack, NH, at 24 years of age. Her body was interred 1842 in Concord, Merrimack, NH. He married Frances Russell BROWN November 26, 1843 in Concord, Merrimack, NH. Frances was born 21 October 1823 in Concord, Merrimack, NH. Frances was the daughter of Cotton BROWN and Elizabeth Armit COLCORD. Frances died January 14, 1894 in Newport, Sullivan, NH, at 70 years of age. Hosea was a printer and farmer who moved from Croydon to Concord and then to his farm on the Goshen road in Newport in 1858.

William died December 29, 1916 in Gorham, Coos, NH, at 70 years of age.⁽⁵⁷⁰⁾ His body was interred January 1, 1917 in Mill Village, NH. He married twice. He married Georgianna A. LITTLE December 19, 1880 in Concord, Merrimack, NH. He married Mary F. WIXON 17 May 1901 in Goshen, Sullivan, NH.⁽⁵⁷¹⁾

William was employed. William was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census in Goshen, Sullivan, NH. William was a candymaker.

1082 iii. Charles A. BARTON was born in Newport, Sullivan, NH October 31, 1848.

1084 v. Adelia F. BARTON was born in Newport, Sullivan, NH April 17, 1854.

1085 vi. Mary E. BARTON was born in Unity, Sullivan, NH circa 1856. Mary died November 21, 1874 in Newport, Sullivan, NH, at 18 years of age.
