He married Sarah COLLINS February 3, 1822.⁽⁴³⁴⁾ Sarah was born October 3, 1802. Sarah died October 2, 1886 at 83 years of age. Sarah was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in North Anson, Somerset, ME. 886 xi. Benjamin F. BARTON was born July 28, 1844. Benjamin died February 20, 1862 at 17 years of age.

887 xii. Alfred BARTON was born in Bowdoinham, Sagadahoc, ME June 24, 1848. Alfred died February 16, 1875 at 26 years of age.
