107. Elisha⁵ BARTON (Elisha⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA June 5, 1734.⁽¹⁴³⁾ Elisha died December 22, 1772 in Granby, Hampshire, MA, at 38 years of age.

He married Sarah SELDON. Sarah was born 20 May 1737.⁽¹⁴⁴⁾ Sarah was the daughter of Jonothan SELDON and Mercy INGHAM. There is some confusion that needs to be cleared up on Martha #2567 and Martha

Elisha BARTON and Sarah SELDON had the following children:

269 i. Gershom⁶ BARTON was born in Sutton, Worcester, MA November 6, 1768.⁽¹⁴⁵⁾ He married Polly SELDON April 23, 1794 in Granby, Hampshire, MA.⁽¹⁴⁶⁾

Gershom was listed as the head of a family on the 1800 Census in Paris, Oneida, NY. Gershom was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census in Paris, Oneida, NY.

270 ii. Chezah BARTON was born December 30, 1769.

271 iii. Elisha BARTON was born December 3, 1771. Elisha died December 22, 1772 at 1 year of age.
